Tooth Fairy comes to our Home

So within the past few days Alexis has lost 2 teeth, her two bottom ones which have taken forever to fall out. The first one she lost while she was having breakfast before school and it was too funny. First of all it started bleeding and that made her upset( She said "ew blood does not taste good..it doesn't taste like any of my juices I drink") lol. She thought she could stay home from school for this but um yeah didnt happen. Then she lost her second tooth at lunch eating some cheez its and had to go to the nurse and drink salt water...she said that time it was "better." The tooth fairy ended up leaving her $5.00, now if I remember correctly all I got was a quarter, now what can you do with a quarter?!

Alexis and her New Years Resolution

Okay so Alexis' class had made these cute little hats before xmas break that had their new years resolution on them. Now first of all its cute just to even hear her say this big word, "resolution." Her hat says that she wants to start feeding her pet and her family..(aww) So Vinny and I got woken up this morning to Alexis asking us whether we wanted Apple Jacks, strawberry cereal or corn pops...and that she wants to do her "resolution" and feed her family. What a sweetheart she is....unfortuantely she still hasn't gotten her rounds done onto Hailey. hehe. Have a great day!

Back to School 2009

Today did not come fast enough!

Alexis was so very excited to go back to school, as well as I was! She thought because it was a new year she would be going into first grade but I had to explain to her that she doesn't start 1st grade till August. That started a whole long conversation of "how old will I be in 2nd, 3rd, 4th...." then to top it all off she tells me that shes gonna live with me till shes "78" Who knows where she got this number but omg it was too funny!

This week she will also have dance class and soon will get her costume for her recital...I cannot wait! Shes gonna be so cute up there on the stage( shes not even one bit scared) go figure! When I was in dance my mother had to push me to even go to class, lol.

Well that was our day, life is back to normal and mommy goes back to school this week as well...Happy New Years!

We went to a beautiful light show they had at the Botanical Gardens and we got to walk through it together with our hot cocoa and listen to christmas music! Alexis sat with Santa and told him what she wanted for xmas and her answer was.."a wii, new bike, dollhouse and pretty clothes." Shes very expensive, let me tell you!!!!

This Past Weekend

This past weekend we went to a Christmas Event near Grandmas house! We had lots of fun...and we got to see snow!!!(fake)



Here Alexis is making a pretty wreath to hang up in our house...she took her time. She loves doing arts and crafty stuff!

This last pic is the best I could do of Alexis and Grandma in the snow....after we went around and saw Santa and made some cool things we got some yummy ice cream and went home.

Alexis and Vinny went to go get our christmas tree today while mommy stayed home and made sure the house was nice and clean so we could set up our tree. They picked the prettiest one(alexis told me) and its "soo tall." After Vinny got done putting the tree in the stand and making it look nice we started by putting up the lights, garland and ornaments meanwhile listening to our christmas music! Alexis is so excited and loved helping mommy make the tree look beautiful!!!

Thanksgiving 2008

Happy Thanksgiving!
So there is a funny story behind this pic...Alexis had the camera and she told Vinny and I to stare at each other and smile like we were "in love" haha. We couldn't do it and neither one of us could stop laughing...shes so silly!

We had a great Thanksgiving! We first went to eat with my Grandmother at Innisbrook Resort and then after went to Grandma Kathy's to having some yummy desserts. Alexis watched some christmas movies with Gavin and Katelyn while the parents got to enjoy some scrumtious desserts that Melissa and Grandma Kathy made. The night before Thanksgiving the kids also made cookies to bring to Grandma Kathy's. They had so much fun!!!!

Thanksgiving at School

So today, at Alexis' school, they had a thanksgiving lunch and parents were welcome to come. It was so weird sitting in the cafeteria with my daughter, when I feel like I was there yesterday. Time sure does fly. Let me tell you , as you all may know, Alexis is such a social butterfly. I noticed her say hi and everyone say hi to her even in older grades!!! Now myself at that age, you were lucky if you could hear a word come out of my mouth. The sad part of it all was when I walked her back to class after lunch and she told me this....."mom you really can go...you don't have to walk me everywhere, I'm not a baby...your embarrassing me."

OK now HOW THE HECK does she know embarrassing????? Am I like a dorky mom or something...jeez!

Here is Alexis taking all of Grandma's shoes out of the closet and trying them on. These were not even half of them! Its so funny because I used to do the same thing when I was little!

This past weekend was our weekened to visit with Grandma. Vinny has national guard, which he goes to one weekend a month, so we go see Grandma or she comes to our house.

We went out to dinner Saturday Night to this yummy restaurant called FishTail Willys! Alexis was bummed because they didnt have ribs on the menu so she ended up getting a cheeseburger.
